Starting with houseful show at Carnival Multiplex, next to I.S.B.T., in Uttarakhand’s capital Dehradun, with long queues outside and people sitting on stairs even, film Bathon Subero Gham – 2 is all set to make a mark in the history of Garhwali Film Industry.
Made with the support of I.T.M. Dehradun, film Bathon Subero Gham – 2 is being liked by the audience as it genuinely portrays the pain of hills and brings in prominence the issue of migration from hills and the life of affected, thereafter.
It has been acknowledged by all that film Bathon Subero Gham – 2 happens to be a very brave joint effort of I.T.M. Dehradun and veteran Garhwali Film Personality Urmi Negi. Contribution to the making of film includes stalwarts like Garh Ratan Narender Singh Negi, Padam Shri Pritam Bharatwan, Meer Ranjan Negi and Ghanna Bhai etc.
Musical magic of the above film has been created by the songs written by Negi Da rendered in the voice of Anuradha Nirala. Title song of the film has been impressively sung by Padam Shri Pritam Bharatwan. To provide an ingenuine feel of Garhwal Hills, folk songs too have been added to Bathon Subero Gham – 2. The film has focus on issues like ghost villages, due to migration, bane of drinking and challenges of livelihood on hills.
Efficient camera-work has portrayed the message well on screen. Though, some scenes seem to be long, but still happen to be meaningful. Film Bathon Subero Gham – 2 is leaving an indelible mark in the hearts of viewers as it truly touches concerns of life on hills.
Conclusively, it is being felt by all that a very sincere and honest joint effort has been made by Chairman of I.T.M. Dehradun, Nishant Thapliyal and Urmi Negi to highlight the woes and challenges of life on hills. Besides, candid side-effects of migration from hills and agony of those left behind on hills have been voiced and shared through this film.
