It was yet another effort of Institute of Technology and Management, Dehradun, which came to fore in form of its support to Bhartiya Janta Party’s Yuva Morcha movement against drugs in the name – Dhami Against Drugs! Notably Pushkar Singh Dhami happens to be Chief Minister of Uttarakhand.
The above movement against drugs draws its inspiration from Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and is meant for eradication of drug-abuse from the society.
Speakers on the occasion exhorted people to collectively fight against this menace of drugs. All present on the occasion undertook a pledge and signed a campaign to uphold the values of a drug-free society and extend support to those struggling with addiction.
Prominent among those present included B.J.P. Yuva Morcha’s District Head Devendra Bisht, Principal Dr. Anju Gairola, Registrar Ruchi and Event Co-ordinator Priyank Raturi alongwith faculty members and students.
It has always been noticed by the Media that I.T.M. Dehradun, under the leadership of its Chairman Nishant Thapliyal, is ever keen in grooming its students against the evils affecting society and humanity.
Thus, students of I.T.M. Dehradun not only lay example as better scholars and professionals, later, but as a responsible citizen too.
