Today Institute of Technology and Management, Dehradun, entered the Semi Final of 76th District Cricket League (B-DIVISION) after beating U.P.E.S. Dehradun by 4 wickets in a match played in the capital city of Uttarakhand.
Earlier, U.P.E.S. won the toss and selected to bat. In its innings U.P.E.S. was able to make 150 for 10 in 27 overs. In reply to the target given by U.P.E.S., I.T.M. Dehradun surpassed it at the loss of 6 wickets in 28th over of its inning.
Highest scorer from I.T.M. Dehradun was Deepanshu Nagia who scored 61 runs in 36 balls with four boundaries and six sixes. Shaurya Verma remained second highest scorer with 47 runs in 66 balls with six boundaries.
Tanishq happened to be the highest wicket-taker by claiming 6 wickets at a cost of 27 runs with 1 maiden over. Thus, once again, I.T.M. Dehradun proved its mettle on the field and moved confidently in semi final of the tournament.
