India Meteorological Department has warned of continuing heavy rainfall over Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand today.
On Friday, extremely heavy rainfall, over 204 m.m. in 24 hours, was recorded at many places in Uttar Pradesh.
Fatehpur Tehsil had 290 m.m., Ramnagar had 270 m m and Haidargarh had 210 m.m. in Barabanki District remained among the wettest areas of the country on the day. Lucknow’s airport recorded 160 m.m. of rainfall.
