GREATER N.O.I.D.A., Jul. 30, 2023 (TBINN) India’s Gyaneshwari Yadav and Koyel Bar secured Silver medals in the women’s 49 K.G. Event at the Asian Youth and Junior Weightlifting Championships today at Greater N.O.I.D.A.
While Gyaneshwari finished runner-up among the juniors, Koyel came second in the Youth Category on day three of Championships at Gautam Buddha University.
Gyaneshwari lifted a total of 175 K.G. (78 K.G.+97 K.G.). Two failed attempts, one each in Snatch and Clean and Jerk Section, prevented Chhattisgarh from matching her Gold-winning effort at the Commonwealth Senior Championships held in Greater N.O.I.D.A. earlier this month.
