Miraculously a 58-year-old grandmother saved her two granddaughters during a leopard-attack in Aabki Village of Tehri District.
Reports say, the leopard attacked the two 4-year-old kids in night when Chandrama Devi with her grand daughters was present in the veranda of house.
Chandrama Devi bravely encountered the leopard-attack. A few locals informed that the grandmother dauntlessly encountered the wild animal attack and protected her grand daughters. She pulled her grand kids back and shielded them but the leopard attacked Devi and tried to drag her away. According to the Gram Pradhan, Shivraj Ramola, Chandrama Devi’s family rushed to the site as soon as they heard them screaming and scared the leopard away.
In the leopard attack, Chandrama Devi suffered injuries. Because of this, she was taken to a nearby health centre and from there she was taken to Himalayan Hospital in Dehradun.
