A Railway Protection Force (R.P.F.) jawan Chetan Singh today shot dead four persons, including one Assistant Sub Inspector Tikaram Meena of R.P.F., on board a train near Palghar Railway Station in Maharashtra, an official said.
The jawan fired from his automatic weapon, killing another R.P.F.’s A.S.I. and three passengers of the train, which was on way to Mumbai from Jaipur, the official elaborated.
Place Palghar in Maharashtra is around 100 Kilometres away from Mumbai. Accused Chetan Singh has been arrested with his weapon who pulled the chain of the train and tried to escape.
