India’s foreign exchange reserves dropped by U.S.D. 7.273 billion to U.S.D. 594.888 billion for the week ended August 18, 2023, Reserve Bank of India (R.B.I.) said today.
In the previous reporting week, overall reserves had risen by U.S.D. 708 million to U.S.D 602.161 billion.
It is the first time in nearly a month that the reserves have dropped below U.S.D. 600 billion.
