A flash flood-like situation has developed near Tapkeshwar Mahadev Temple in Uttarakhand’s capital Dehradun, due to incessant torrential rainfall in the region over the last couple of days.
Visuals doing round on social media show Tamasa River flowing in spate and its water crashing with Tapkeshwar Mahadev Temple.
Temple premises have submerged under the water while all devotees and workers have evacuated it. While speaking to media, Acharaya Bipin Joshi said due to continuous torrential rains since yesterday, Tamasa River flowing near Tapkeshwar Mahadev Temple in Dehradun was in spate. Importantly, There has been no loss of life or property.
