The ban on photography in Kedarnath Temple got violated when a pilgrim clicked a photo of spiritual leader Morari Bapu while he was offering prayers inside the sanctum sanctorum.
The man has been identified with the help of C.C.T.V. camera footage after the photo went viral on social media platforms, Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee (B.K.T.C.) media in-charge Harish Gaud said.
Reportedly, the said man, a resident of Indore in Madhya Pradesh, was let off after he offered a written apology and a donation of Rs 11,000 to the B.KT.C., he said.
According to the devotee, he clicked the photograph of spiritual leader out of sheer excitement, who has followers across the country.
