PLANT DISCONNECTED FROM POWER GRID OF UKRAINE

The final pair of working reactors at the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Plant have been disconnected from Ukraine’s power grid, the state nuclear agency said.
Apparently, nearby fires interfered with overhead power lines, disconnecting the now Russian-controlled site from the national grid for the first time ever. The plant, reportedly, continues to be powered by a local thermal plant.
It comes amid growing concern over fighting near the complex, which is the largest nuclear plant in Europe.
