MUMBAI, Feb. 12, 2023 (TBINN) Maharashtra’s Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis today defended outgoing Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari, saying some of his comments were wrongly interpreted.
Davendra said Maha Vikas Aghadi, comprising Nationalist Congress Party, Congress and Uddhav Thackeray-led faction of Shiv Sena, bore a special grudge against Koshyari as he had stopped them ..
Bhagat Singh Koshyari stopped the Maha Vikas Aghadi, hence, its leaders bear a special grudge against him.
Koshyari already expressed his willingness to give up his responsibility and now the Union Government has accepted his resignation. His performance as a governor of Maharashtra was stellar, Davendra told reporters.
