A concerning outbreak of a novel bacterial pneumonia strain, White Lung Syndrome, has raised alarm bells across the world. This respiratory illness has now gripped many countries, affecting children between the ages of three and eight. If experts are to be believed, while the exact cause of this outbreak is under investigation, it is suspected that it may be associated with a newly identified strain of mycoplasma pneumonia, a common bacterium responsible for respiratory infections.
Countries including China, Denmark, United States and Netherlands have been reporting the illness impacting mostly children aged three to eight.
