The Government has decided to hand over comprehensive security of Parliament Building Complex to Central Industrial Security Force (C.I.S.F.) in the wake of recent breach of the safety-ring, official sources said today.
The C.I.S.F. is a Central Armed Police Force that currently guards many Central Government ministry buildings in National Capital apart from installations in the nuclear and aerospace domain, civil airports and the Delhi Metro.
As per the sources, Union Home Ministry has directed for a survey of Parliament Building Complex so that a regular deployment of C.I.S.F. security and firewing on a comprehensive pattern could be done.
