Capital city of Uttarakhand, Dehradun, witnessed an incident of Chlorine Gas-leak in Jhanjra area of Prem Nagar.
This triggered panic among residents as they complained of breathing difficulties. Thereafter, residents of the area were evacuated and taken to a safe place.
As per Senior Superintendent of Police, Dehradun Ajay Singh, National Disaster Response Force (N.D.R.F.) and other security forces rushed to the spot on getting the information.
This all, reportedly, happened because of Chlorine Cylinder kept in an empty plot at Jhajra Area under Prem Nagar Police Station of Dehradun. Police, S.D.R.F., N.D.R.F. and Fire Team reached the spot and took action for safe disposal, Ajay Singh, S.S.P. Dehradun, added.
