Jharkhand Governor C.P. Radhakrishnan has nominated Jharkhand Mukti Morcha’s legislative party leader Champai Soren as chief minister and invited him to take the oath, capping couple of days’ time of fast-paced developments.
The nomination took place hours after Champai Soren urged Governor to accept his claim to form government at the earliest as there was “confusion” in the state which was without a chief minister since the resignation of Hemant Soren on Wednesday, deepening the political crisis.
