The Punjab police on Wednesday registered a case after the ruling Aam Aadmi Party in Punjab complained to the state’s Director-General of police, accusing Bharatiya Janata Party of an attempt to poach its M.L.A.s.
Punjab’s Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema along with party M.L.A.s met D.G.P. Gaurav Yadav over the issue and demanded a thorough probe.
Earlier, the ruling party said at least 10 of its M.L.A.s were approached by B.J.P. pmwith a offer of Rs 25 crore each in a bid to topple the state government.
