A case has been registered against three doctors for allegedly gang-raping a woman from Lucknow in Basti District of Uttar Pradesh.
Reportedly, the woman, a resident of Lucknow, approached the S.S.P. of Basti District and handed over the complaint alleging that one of the three doctors befriended her on a social media platform around seven weeks ago and gang-raped her.
Meanwhile, Basti Police have registered an F.I.R. under the I.P.C sections 376-D for gang rape, 504 for insulting and 506 for criminal intimidation at Sadar Police Station against the three doctors at Sadar Kotwali. An investigation into the matter has been launched.
