NEW DELHI, Mar. 24, 2024 (TBINN)
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has issued his first direction from Enforcement Directorate’s custody on running the city government, Aam Admi Party sources said today.
Notably, Arvind Kejriwal was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (E.D.) on Thursday from his official residence in connection with an Excise Policy-linked Money-laundering Case. A court on Friday sent A.A.P. national convenor to the Central agency’s custody till March 28, 2024.
“He (Arvind Kejriwal) has issued his first direction from E.D.’s custody. The directions pertain to Delhi Government’s Water Department. Water Minister Atishi will announce the directions later in the day,” party sources said.
Aam Admi Party has said Arvind Kejriwal will continue as Chief Minister even if he is sent to jail.
