Aam Admi Party today held a protest against Bhartiya Janta Party over alleged rigging of recently held Chandigarh mayoral elections and demanded that the presiding officer be arrested for “tampering” with ballot papers.
Councillors of A.A.P., led by party’s Chandigarh co-incharge Sunny Ahluwalia, squatted outside the municipal corporation’s office.
Sunny Ahluwalia said they have decided that starting today, five A.A.P. members (one leader and four councillors) will observe a hunger strike and then the next day, another five will do the same.
