At least four people died in an explosion at a firecracker factory in Uttar Pradesh’s Kaushambi District today, police said.
The blast happened at around 12 Noon in Maheva Village under Kokhraj Police Station’s area and was heard several kilometres from the factory, police added.
Soon after information was received about the explosion by the authorities, Fire Brigade vehicles and ambulances rushed to the spot.
Reportedly, four people died in the explosion, the cause of which is yet to be ascertained, Superintendent of Police Brijesh Kumar Srivastava informed.
