Uttarakhand’s Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami directed the officers of Revenue Department that the land records (Khatauni) of the people in the hill state be made available online by July 15, 2024 to save people from visiting tehsils for the certified copies of their Khatauni.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh also stressed that hearings should be made mandatory in the Revenue Courts two days in a week. If a magistrate is unable to sit in the Revenue Court on the date due to any reason, then it will be necessary for him to clearly mention it in the court diary, Pushkar Singh Dhami added.
On a stern note Chief Minister Dhami said that the process of mutation of land should be completed within the stipulated time and directed Garhwal and Kumaon commissioners to regularly review the settlement of mutation and the cases of Revenue courts.
