NEW DELHI, May 21, 2023 (TBINN)
The second edition of Common University Entrance Test (C.U.E.T.) began today, with over 14 lakh candidates set to appear for the crucial exam for undergraduate admissions.
Unlike last year, the exam is being conducted in three shifts this time. Earlier, the exam was scheduled to be held from May 21 to May 31, 2023, but the National Testing Agency (N.T.A.) decided to extend the schedule by at least four days to accommodate higher number of candidates.
University Grants Commission’s (U.G.C.) Chairman M. Jagadesh Kumar advised students to answer questions only if they are confident about the correct answer.
