Capital markets’ regulator S.E.B.I. today said it has recognised B.S.E. Ltd as a supervisory body for research analysts and investment advisors to oversee their management and administration.
In its circular, S.E.B.I. said, “B.S.E. Ltd has been granted recognition under regulation 14 of the R.A. regulations and I.A. Regulations for administration and supervision of Research Analysts (R.A.s) and Investment Advisers (I.A.s) respectively as (R.A.A.S.B.) and (I.A.A.S.B.) for a period of five years starting from July 25, 2024″.
As part of its new role, B.S.E. will establish bye-laws, standard operating procedures (S.O.P.s), and frequently asked questions (F.A.Q.s) to guide and facilitate the seamless adoption of R.A.A.S.B. and I.A.A.S.B. frameworks by R.A.s and I.A.s.
