West Bengal’s Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee roday Eening held a review meeting with Chief Secretary Manoj Pant and Health Secretary N.S. Nigam at her residence in Kalighat on the upgradation of health-care infra-structure, a well-placed source informed.
Mamara Banerjee, in the meeting which lasted for nearly 45 minutes, enquired about security infra-structure at various state-run medical colleges and hospitals, source said.
“The CM sought to be updated about the status of work being undertaken to upgrade the infrastructure regarding safety and security at different hospitals. Mamata also gave Chief Secretary and the Health Secretary necessary instructions,” the source told The Bharat India.
