A stampede-like situation occurred near Mumbai Airport where thousands of job aspirants gathered to apply for a limited number of vacancies for the post of Loader at the facility, police said today.
The situation was later brought under control, an official from Sahar Police Station informed.
With their applications and documents in hand, jobseekers assembled at Gate No. 5 near Sahar Cargo Complex after they came to know about the vacancy for the Loader’s post at the airport, Police shared.
Reportedly, many Graduates and Post Graduates were part of the crowd appearing for the post of Loader. Thus, pathetic condition of unemployment came to fore, in spite of Central Government claiming high achievements on the front of employment.
