Indian Gymnast Dipa Karmakar has been suspended for a 21-month period, effective until 10 July 2023 after testing positive for the use of a prohibited substance by the International Testing Agency. It was confirmed yesterday.
Dipa Karmakar was the first Indian Gymnast to place fourth in the Rio Olympics in 2016. Her career has taken a downward spiral as a result of a slew of injuries.
