ISLAMABAD, April 22, 2024 (TBINN)
Pakistan’s jailed former prime minister Imran Khan has urged chief justice Qazi Faez Isa to intervene to safeguard the rule of law and supremacy of the Constitution in the country as he highlighted multiple issues including alleged rigging during the February 8 general elections.
Imran Khan, 71 years of age, in a letter dated April 20, 2024, highlighted seven key issues faced by the country, including the anti-corruption watchdog giving a clean chit to former premier Nawaz Sharif in the Toshakhana Case and alleged rigging in the February general elections.
Imran Khan reminded chief justice that the entire nation was looking at him and quoted the words of one of the greatest and most influential scientists of all time, Albert Einstein: “The world is a dangerous place, not because of those who do evil, but because of those who look on and do nothing.”
