I.T.M. DEHRADUN PARTICIPATES IN PRESTIGIOUS NATIONAL TRAINING WORKSHOP ON CAPACITY BUILDING IN CAREER DEVELOPMENT

Living up to its reputation and status, Institute of Technology and Management, Dehradun, was invited at an esteem Training Workshop on Capacity Building in Career Development at V.V. Giri National Labour Institute in National Capital.

I.T.M. Dehradun was represented in this workshop by its Principal Dr Anju Gairola at the initiative of College Chairman Nishant Thapliyal.

Understanding the Work and Career Development happened to be the initial topic at the workshop. Thereafter, Quality and Decent Employment in the Light of Work Challenges was topic at the workshop.

Facilitating Employment and Boosting Career Advancement through Counselling and Guidance with refer Digital Portals Initiatives was explained by an expert. Enhancing Employability with Education, Skill & Entrepreneurship with reference to Gender and Disadvantaged, followed the program.

Under Fostering Innovation, Startups & Entrepreneurship among Youth Experience of Smart India, Hakathon 2022, The Startup Journey of India was expertly shared and presented. Understanding New Education Policy and National Curriculum Framework was also taken into account and discussed at the workshop.

Enhancing Employability Skills for Career Advancement was also underlined and shed light upon by the speakers at the workshop. Emerging Technologies and Career Development was also discussed in context of Opportunities and Challenges by an expert on the topic.

Feedback, Discussion and Action Plan happened to be the conclusive part of the workshop led by Director-General of V.V.G.N.L.I. Dr Arvind.

In the interactive session and discussion, Principal of I.T.M. Dehradun Dr Anju Gairola was appreciated by all dignitaries and representatives present there.

Such is the level of I.T.M. Dehradun which helps institute evolve practical pedagogy to have its students sure-shot star-genuine placements in Private and Government sectors, both.
