For the first time, perhaps, Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray and Maharashtra Navnirman Sena president Raj Thackeray voted for their kin who were in the fray in the Maharashtra polls held today.
In Mahim, Raj voted for his son Amit Thackeray, who is involved in a triangular contest with Shiv Sena’s Sadanand Sarvankar and Mahesh Sawant of Sena (U.B.T.).
A resident of Dadar, an upper-middle-class Maharashtrian belt where both Shiv Sena and M.N.S. were born, Raj went to vote with his wife Sharmila and daughter Urvashi.
