SIX AIR FORCE OFFICIALS CHARGED FOR DRIVING CADET TO SUICIDE

BENGALURU, Sep. 26, 2022 (TBINN)

Reportefly, as many as six Air Force officials have been charged with murder after a cadet trainee hanged himself on campus at Air Force Technical College (A.F.T.C.) in Jalahalli, Banglore.

Reports say Air Force Cadet trainee was found hanging in Bangalore Campus, for which, six officials have been booked for murder.

Victim has been identified as Ankit Kumar Jha, who also left behind a note before his death, alleging harassment at the training centre. According to D.C.P. (North), Vinayak Patil, Cadet Trainee Ankit Kumar Jha from Air Force Technical College (A.F.T.C.) in Jalahalli was found dead on the campus itself.

Brother of the deceased, Aman, registered a complaint at Gangammagudi Police Station accusing that the six officers murdered his brother. The complainant alleged that six officers, Cmde. Sameer Khalode, Gp Capt GUM Rao, Gp Capt V Badrinath, Wing Cdr SS Huddar, Wing cdr Ankit Sharma and U.T.F.O. Tahira Rehman, harassed him during training.

Notablt, the cadet was terminated from college on the day he was found dead on the campus. Subsequently, he was missing and later was found hanging.
